Royal Welsh Show - 2011 - Find Out More About The Work Of Royal Commission

Bardsey Island 3D landscape
This week come and visit us at the Royal Welsh Show and find out more about the work of Royal Commission and meet the staff. Our exhibition this year includes many fascinating and unique images from our national archive and many are drawn from this year's Royal Welsh host county, Caernarfonshire. Some illustrate our specialist work on the slate industry and chapels, and others our successful ongoing partnerships with other bodies. Come and learn how to access our online information facility Coflein and discover the archaeology of your farm or view images of your local area. Staff will be on-hand all day to answer your questions.

At 2pm on Tuesday, Royal Commission 3D-landscape expert Tom Pert will be giving a talk entitled "Casgliad y Werin Cymru/People's Collection Wales- creating Wales in a website". This will focus on the huge array of digital 3D images, created through new technology and now available for everyone to view through the People's Collection Wales . Everyone is welcome, so do please do come along and meet us all.
