Torch-bearer Kyle Williams passing the Royal Commissions's offices |
The torch travelled through the town before going along Plas Crug to join celebrations at Vicarage Fields, where torch-bearer Kyle Williams, aged 16, lit the cauldron in front of over eight thousand people who were there enjoying the Olympic party entertainment.
This historic event was witnessed by the many people who lined the streets of Aberystwyth to watch the torch pass and cheer on the local torch bearers.
