Heritage Open Day Holyhead, 19 September 10am–4.30pm





The Royal Commission will be joining staff from the Holyhead Town Heritage Initiative in a day-long celebration of Holyhead’s architectural past. The event will focus on the Roman fort and St Cybi’s Church, and will include demonstrations of Roman life and Roman re-enactors in full regalia. At 11am and 2pm the Royal Commission’s architectural historian, Richard Suggett, will lead a guided tour focusing on St Cybi’s Church and its environs. Each tour will last approximately 1½ hours. To join the tour meet in the tearoom at the Ucheldre Centre, Millbank, Holyhead, Anglesey, LL65 1TE.
